Meet the Founders behind Creative Connect
Creative Connect is shaped by leaders who bring decades of experience across hospitality, F&B, events, culture, and global strategy. Their combined vision blends creativity with operational excellence, guiding every project with purpose, integrity, and a deep commitment to building meaningful community spaces.
Pach Ang
Pach Ang is a seasoned entrepreneur and visionary leader with over 30 years of operational and business leadership experience, spanning both the events industry and hospitality sector. As CEO of RedFilo Events, Pach led the company to national acclaim, earning the title of Best Employer of the Year (2016) and receiving personal recognition as Industry Icon of the Year (2017). He has also been listed among the Top 10 Industry Influencers by Sound & Stage magazine, which described him as an “unmatched commander, mentor, and business leader.” Pach’s leadership experience is rooted in his earlier career as a Commando in the Singapore Special Forces, where he honed the operational discipline, strategic foresight, and team leadership that now define his business style. He has served as a founding board member of The Event Group and currently acts as Advisor to the Singapore Business Council UAE, further demonstrating his cross-industry influence and community leadership.
Jonathan Cheng
Jonathan Cheng brings a unique blend of entrepreneurial drive, international experience, and multicultural insight to Creative Connect. As co-founder and co-owner of a number of Abu Dhabi’s leading Southeast Asian restaurants, Jonathan has played a hands-on role in scaling successful award-winning F&B concepts in the UAE. With a career spanning Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and North America, Jonathan’s expertise extends far beyond F&B. He has advised governments and businesses on economic diplomacy, business, and trade, having held senior roles in international organizations and leading public policy institutions. He is currently an Advisor to the UAE Government. Jonathan’s mixed experience working with governments, businesses, and universities across the globe equips him with a rare ability to navigate both the operational realities of F&B management and the strategic complexities of large-scale projects.
