Seven Months of Flavours Hub

On Valentine's Day we opened the Flavours Hub with a simple idea: that a food hall could be more than a place to eat - it could be where a community gathers. Seven months on, we're humbled by what it's become, especially in the midst of everything happening in the region!

Eleven kitchens now serve everything from hand-folded dim sum to Sicilian gelato - including our newest arrival, Prairie Bakes, whose bakes appear whenever the baker does (follow your nose). Thirteen artisan markets have filled the Hub with local makers, and the Jazz Hub opened upstairs in June.

Some of what we're proudest of doesn't appear on any menu. Our big community bookcase, stocked in collaboration with Bookends, has brought second-hand books to the neighbourhood - take one home, drop off your donations, or simply settle in with a chapter and a coffee. The Room has quietly become the Hub's creative engine, hosting workshops, craft sessions, community gatherings, and celebrations of every kind. And every weekend, Piccolo Tesoro joins us at the Hub, giving our youngest visitors a joyful outlet for their artsy creativity.

To everyone who has eaten, played, performed, made art, browsed the bookcase, or simply lingered with us: thank you. The best is ahead - see what's coming this autumn on our News page.
